Day One Chrome and Safari extensions are out!

Finally! Not being able to post to DayOne from Windows was becoming too much of a pain! Glad they've launched these extensions. Also interesting to note that they've now denoted grandfathered accounts as "Plus" accounts, of which I am one, it seems.

Liar Lyre Bird

I dunno. Seems funny. They've managed to create a neural network which can learn anyone's voice in a short time and spit out anything incriminating you'd want them to say on tape. Bonus points for having an Ethics page to talk about the implications.

Airdine: Because your car has been commercialized, so your house should be too

Leave aside the terrible consequences of inviting random people over to your house for dinner (drinks are your own, yeah right). What's more obvious is that the 'be social' layer is just a white lie covering an obvious attempt at commercializing dinners. What's next? Commercializing your vacations? "Hey, if you're going on a vacay, take one extra person with you and earn some money along the way!"

The real use of content blockers in iOS

You know it. Content blockers aren't just for blocking ads. They are meant to do a lot more. Well, here it is. This app (free as of when I'm writing this) can block all Game of Thrones spoilers from Safari. Enjoy!
